Fish and Chips and Rimmel

March 19, 2015, 12:30 p.m.

Hiya. Let's talk beauty. Here's my dirty little secret: I don't like to spend a lot of money on products. Sorry. Would much rather save those g's for bags, shoes, and clothes, which has led me to the following discovery.

Not only do the British have a delectable accent, fish and chips, and the royals, they have ace makeup in the form of Rimmel. I am quite positive Kate Middleton would love. It is fit for a prinCESS (emphasis on the cess). Try it, and see if it works for you. That is all. Cheerio.

P.S. Please read this entire segment with an accent. Please.

Into the Woods

March 18, 2015, 9:34 a.m.

I may not be Red Riding Hood, but these camo pants are the cape of choice when hitting the wooded streets. You don't have to be afraid, the harshness can be easily softened with sweet, soft blush hues. Think Grandmother's house (sans wolf).

Juxstaposition is my show, we all know this. Once upon a time, there was a girl who wore camo with blush even though she knew it would create quite a fuss. However, there was no sudden fear in her eyes, because the impending satisfactory surprise. Gone is the story of a damsel in distress, this is the age of fun, fabulous dress.

Out and About

March 13, 2015, 12:29 a.m.

I don't care, but I do. I'm so grunge, how 'bout you?

Attainable or not, we like to think we can go out and about whenever the mood strikes. Ladies who lunch, of course. To avoid showing how much we do care, "throw on" a denim button down with those comfy denim cut offs and some sneaks. Oh, hi. I woke up like this (an hour later).

Corporate, casual, classic, oh my. Who do you want to be? Maybe all three?

Style is a way to express your personality without having to open your mouth. It is the first thing people see when they meet you, and the last thing they remember when you walk away. This is power, people.

Very few things in life can be controlled, but style can be commanded by you on a daily basis. Let me show you how to rule your wardrobe with an iron fist. Let me train you for the fashion games. Katniss. Think Katniss. for the battle plan (styling services).

Blast from the Past

March 8, 2015, 5:02 p.m.

Much like trains going to and from the station, trends in fashion fly in and fly out from season to season. However, if you hang on to something long enough,(thank you, Gran) it will become a functioning caboose once again. I give you, the fringe jacket. Before running out to purchase one, check with your grandmother and/or mother to see if they are hanging on to years gone by. Oh, the places you'll go when wearing a bit of history.
